Sad And Lonely People

For the first time ever Eric is trying his "hands" out on playing piano. A cross between Pink Floyd meets Radiohead, Eric's new song "Sad and Lonely People" is a cultural commentary on how society puts up the proverbial mask to hide what's really inside.

Full Bio

Emmy-award winning composer, Eric Harper, creates a style that is not only all his own, but his music is melodically entrancing, virtuosically ferocious and harmonically soul-stirring to the core.

Hatched from a small “po-dunk” town in Arkansas, tempered by the hard-worn guitarists of Portugal, inspired by the fantastical Flamenco from Romanis in Spain, modernized by the transformative education of Berklee College of Music in Boston and currently camping out amongst the Canucks in Canada, Eric brings a fusion of music never experienced before by a “redneck”.

Eric released his first solo album in 2008 entitled "Romper a Madrugada" which has played in countries all over the world from Portugal to Brazil, China to Kenya, Canada to the States and more.

After, he released his self-titled CD "Eric Harper", in 2010, garnering the attention of people like Rainn Wilson from The Office and Grammy-Award Winning Producer KC Porter.

In 2013 he released his instrumental CD entitled "Ribeira" showcasing his virtuosic guitar skills in Flamenco and Fado.

Since 2000, Eric has won multiple awards not only for his guitar skills but also for his Film Scoring talents such as an Emmy in 2020 for his work on Joseph Gordon-Levitt’s show "Create Together", the ReRec Contest in 2019, the New York Film Award and European Independent Film Award for his work on “Wished” in 2018, the Guitar Mania Contest in 2014 and more. To date, he has has composed music for over 2300 TV episodes and has scored 10 feature films and worked intimately with The Office's Rainn Wilson.

Eric's live show is quite the spectacle of blending his hilarious and heart-felt story-telling along with his mad guitar skills and soulful voice. Anyone who sees Eric is guaranteed to laugh, cry and dance in their seat.

Eric has performed hundreds of shows all around the globe from Portugal to China, Canada to Mexico, Switzerland to Israel, France to Spain to India and more.
